The MDRM is a two-year postgraduate program (48–60 credits) that combines theory, practice, and research in disaster risk reduction and emergency management. Students are trained in hazard and vulnerability assessment, climate and environmental risk, disaster preparedness, humanitarian coordination, GIS applications, and community-based disaster management. The curriculum emphasizes practical skills through fieldwork, case studies, and a research thesis, complemented by seminars with experts from humanitarian and development agencies.
